Organized by Combat Academy, the Singapore Amateur Boxing Championships aims to rekindle local interests in the sport of amateur boxing with the long-term goal of recovering Singapore’s past glory in regional boxing.

Endorsed and supported by the Singapore Amateur Boxing Association, the Championship promises to showcase some of Singapore’s best local talents. It has been. This Championship serves as an annual platform in support of the selection process for the National squad to represent Singapore in international competition.

Unlike in professional boxing, the primary emphasis in amateur boxing is on scoring points with punches.
